Completion submission guidelines & MARKING RUBRIC - Short Story Competition 2019 - Reut School of the Arts, Haifa. Howard Burns

Competition submission guidelines:  Follow these general guides when submitting the short story:
  1.     Each registered competitor can submit 1 draft for editing no later than May 30 2019
  2.     Final date for submission - 31/5/2019
  3.     The story must be written in correct English
  4.     Maximum number of words - 400
  5.     The short story must be original and not translated from Hebrew
  6.     Single space - use WORD doc.
  7.     Send the story as email attachment 
  8.     Use a standard font, like Courier, Times New Roman or Arial
  9.     Be sure your name and contact info is at the top of the story
  10.     Avoid using smart quotes (the curly quote marks). You can turn off the function in          Word.
  11.     Avoid if possible. bold, italics and other formatting
